Feeding the Fire is a four piece band based out of Chapel Hill, NC. Their line up consists of Eric Smith on bass, Spencer Thornton on guitar, Keith Cannon on drums, and Ken Cannon on vocals.
Experimenting with different sounds has created a range of moods as vast as their list of influences. Fusing together the sounds of dynamic rock, progressive rhythms, and memorable melodies, Feeding the Fire has created a sound and energy that is both fresh and imaginative.

8-01-07...............Feeding the Fire is currently working on writing and recording new material. we will still be playing live shows but we have cut back a considerable amount so we can concentrate on creating new music. keep an eye on our show page here or on myspace for updates. thanks! -eric
10-07-06..........hello everyone, sorry i haven't updated this site in a while. i finally got the music and shows pages up to date. i've added new video links on the music page, there are also new lyrics and links to songs from Naked to the Invisible Eye . as always check out myspace for the newest updates and pics too. -eric
8-20-06..........today we shot a video for our new song La Mort du Soleil. it was written for an Eno River Media Productions' project to supply NASA with unique instructional videos for the planets and solar system. they will be shown across the country in schools to help peak interest in space exploration. i'll definitely let you know as soon as we get a mixed copy of the finished video. -eric
